Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch has issued a defiant message on social media following the side’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Sunday.

The American head coach posted an update on Instagram on Monday, as the club look to turn their fortunes around at Leicester City on Thursday.

Leeds were unable to come back from Bukayo Saka’s first-half strike in Sunday’s visit of Arsenal, and missed a penalty mid-way through the second-half to secure another winless game for the Whites.

Marsch’s side have now gone six Premier League games without victory, a run which stretches back to the side’s 3-0 victory over Chelsea in mid-August.

But the American seemed in a positive mood on social media as the wretched run of results carried on.

“It is really difficult to be patient as a manager,” Marsch said on Instagram.

“Of course, I want to win every game.

“I ask the lads to invest everything they have into our process and each other.

“And my experience is that they will benefit massively from this mentality. We are getting better, no doubt, and I back these men all the way! #MOT #ALAW

TIF Thoughts on Marsch’s post…

We think that Marsch’s post represents a positive mindset within the Leeds camp, despite the continued set of poor results, and we would back the Whites to turn this run of form around soon.

The club face a double-header against Leicester and Fulham this week, and we would back the Yorkshire side to win at least one of these fixtures, heading into a tough Premier League clash with Liverpool at the end of the month.

Therefore, we think that there is no need for the club to panic as of yet, and would back the side to get back to winning ways at some point within the next week.
