Journalist Lewis Cox believes that the vacant West Brom job would interest out-of-work manager Sean Dyche.
After a disastrous few months with Steve Bruce as manager, the Baggies decided to relieve him of his duties having taken them from being play-off contenders to sitting inside the bottom three.
While many supporters will likely be happy to see the back of Bruce given he’d only overseen one win in the league all season, they will now be anxiously waiting on who the club see as the best successor.
Cox has claimed on The Baggies Broadcast that Dyche will indeed be interested in the West Brom job, despite having managed in the Premier League for six straight seasons before being sacked by Burnley.
He said: “I think he did an outstanding job at Burnley overall and he’s obviously by now, you would think – I mean, we’re in mid-October – almost certainly be wanting to get back in, wouldn’t he? I would think that West Brom would interest him.”

It’s natural for Dyche to be linked with the vacant West Brom job given he has a huge amount of experience in the Championship and Premier League, with the Baggies aiming to get back into the top flight sooner rather than later.
However, he may well be holding out for another job in the Premier League that he would likely have a good chance of getting considering the work he did at Burnley, where he kept the Clarets in the division for such a long period of time.
Given his pedigree, especially in English football, it could take a lot for West Brom to convince Dyche to take up the job, not to mention the salary he may demand given he was a Premier League manager not too long ago – something that could be a stumbling block in any potential talks.
