ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United is Armando Broja’s first choice club to sign for this summer transfer window.

Armando Broja has been linked with a move to West Ham United this summer, with the fee being in the region of £30 million, but they face competition from fellow Premier League side Southampton after they were impressed with him last season on loan at the club.

Broja spent last season on loan with the Saints, and scored nine goals in 38 games in all competitions, at just 20 years old, but this was not enough to warrant a place in the Chelsea squad after he has been told not to travel with the squad on their pre-season tour.

With Broja linked to several Premier League clubs this summer, ExWHUemployee told The Transfer Show that West Ham are his preferred choice.

(12:44) –  “Broja, as I mentioned, there’s some talk that he’s really pushing for a chance to go to West Ham. He doesn’t want to go on the tour to America. He wants to sign for other clubs I mean, he’s got West Ham are the one that seems to be the most keen on but Everton and Newcastle are knocking around for him as well. But apparently, his preferred choice is West Ham so he gets to stay in London because he’s only 20 years of age and he’s lived his whole life in London,” Ex said.

TIF Thoughts on Ex’s comments…

After the ‘exciting’ Broja has been told not to travel with the Chelsea squad in pre-season, he will be keen to force an exit away from the club and West Ham could be a good option for him as it will mean that he won’t have to relocate and can stay in London.

West Ham only had one recognisable striker in their squad last season, that was Michail Antonio, so David Moyes will be keen to bring another attacking option to his squad before the start of next season.
