Alasdair Gold has dropped a worrying Tottenham Hotspur transfer claim on his YouTube channel.
Spurs have already recruited very impressively this summer adding Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic to their ranks and it appears that their business certainly isn’t finished with Antonio Conte wanting to improve his backline.
Tottenham have been linked with moves for the likes of Gleison Bremer and Clement Lenglet recently which would add depth to the centre-back department and also youngster Djed Spence has long been linked with a move to Spurs.
However, Gold claims that next to no progress has been made in Spurs’ pursuit of Spence this summer.
(22:50) “It’s a very strange one, From what I understand right now there still hasn’t been progress on that one. We know the facts of this one, we know that Chris Wilder has come out and said he expects the move to happen.

Having already made a signing in the right wing-back position with Perisic arriving on a free transfer, it could be useful to add some homegrown talent to their ranks as well as some youth that can learn behind a seasoned veteran.
The fact that Spurs have already brought in four players this summer may well have deflected away any worries that Tottenham fans had about the pursuit of Spence, however, they could now emerge once more with this latest claim from Gold.
