Dean Jones has revealed that Wilfried Zaha will be looking to leave Crystal Palace this summer while speaking on the Chasing Green Arrows YouTube channel.

The Ivory Coast winger has often been tipped with a move away from Crystal Palace but with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2023 and currently enjoying his best season in front of goal, there could be more suitors at his feet than usual.

Should Palace sell Zaha?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Zaha has become an integral and crucial player under Patrick Vieira featuring in the fifth most league games, much like he was for years under Roy Hodgson, but if he wishes to win silverware and play European football, he may think this summer is the last big chance he has to secure such a move given he turns 30 later this year.

Jones believes that Zaha will be looking for a move away from Selhurst Park this summer.

(35:15) “Zaha, I think it’s 14 goals now this season and a real good asset. I think he’ll probably still be there but he’s going to look for a move, but I’m not convinced he’ll get it.”

Think you're the biggest Crystal Palace fan? Then who is the club's record signing?

These comments from Jones could be taken in very different ways by Palace fans as the transfer insider doesn’t expect him to leave this summer, but does acknowledge the fact that the winger will still try and leave.

So, if this is the case then Vieira and Palace may not want someone who is fixated on leaving the cub within the dressing room as he won’t likely be focussed on the task at hand, but Palace have been been able to get him to stay for years now and there appears to be no suggestion that this summer would be any different.
