TIF Thoughts on Campana…

Wolves are in desperate need of a consistent striker to give competition to Jimenez and Campana could be the man to do that. He has enjoyed a successful season on loan at Inter Miami as they look to make the playoffs in just their third season as a professional club.

So far this season Campana has bettered the scoring record of every Wolves player with eight goals in all competitions for the American side. He also has racked up 2.3 shots, 0.6 key passes, 0.5 dribbles 0.6 long balls per game while averaging 78.3% pass accuracy. (Whoscored).

Wolves should definitely continue their search for a starting strike this summer as next season might be one too soon for Campana, especially in a league as fast and competitive as the Premier League. However, Wolves fans can get excited that they have a very promising player on their hands that can be moulded and nurtured into a possible starting calibre player for them for years to come.

It might be worth sending Campana out on loan to a club in a league closer to the style of the Premier League next season in order to get a better football education and experience before turning to him in future seasons.
