Vincente Guaita has posted on his Instagram to let Patrick Vieira know that he’s ready.

Crystal Palace are back on home turf this evening as they welcome Leeds United to Selhurst Park as they look to put an end to their poor run of form that’s seen them lose three games in a row across all competitions while also fining the back of the net just once.

Will Crystal Palace win tonight?

The Eagles have enjoyed an interesting season by reaching an FA Cup semi-final under Patrick Vieira who’s never managed in the Premier League and saw 10 new players arrive, however, they are now just eight points above the bottom three after Burnley’s recent resurgence up the table, so tonight’s game is a big one.

Guaita, who has been rotated with Jack Butland on some occasions in the Premier League this season, has posted on Instagram that he’s ‘ready’ for the game tonight, pointing toward the fact he could be in line to start this evening.

TIF Thoughts on Guaita starting…

It will be no surprise if Patrick Vieira does decide to start Guaita in between the sticks this evening as he has been the number one choice most weeks and with it being such a crucial match down at the bottom of the table, Vieira will likely want his most trusted players starting.

Guaita has enjoyed a rather successful season from a personal point of view racking eight in the Premier League in terms of save percentage, only 0.1% less than Ederson and has also kept nine clean sheets, the joint eight most in the division (FBRef).
