Tottenham Hotspur reporter Alasdair Gold believes both Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele will be moved on in the summer transfer window.

The pair are currently spending the second half of the season out on loan across the continent after departing in January, and Gold has discussed their futures on his YouTube channel.

It is expected to be a busy summer window in north London, with reports suggesting the Lilywhites will need to bring in around six new faces to keep Antonio Conte happy.

Lo Celso and Ndombele were two of Tottenham’s biggest signings, with a combined £110m reportedly spent on the pair just a matter of years ago.

With the N17 side tipped for a big summer, Gold feels the duo will hopefully be sold in order to bring in some funds for Conte to transform into some new additions.

He said: “I was looking at it. Obviously, Ndombele and Lo Celso have to be moved on. Whether it’s selling them or whether it’s loaning them again, those are two players that are going to, you’d think, not be at Tottenham next season.”

TIF Thoughts on Gold’s comments…

Both players have gone abroad in January and played regular football with Lyon and Villarreal respectively across a number of competitions.

Lo Celso, in particular, has impressed in Spain, with Unai Emery’s side reportedly being open to extending the Argentinian’s loan deal with no option to buy believed to be in his contract.

And with Lo Celso playing just 215 minutes of football under Conte and Ndombele just 287 minutes, it does not seem either are in the Italian’s plans for the future.
