Podcaster Taylor Payne was left fuming after images emerged from the Newcastle United training ground which didn’t look too glamourous.
Newcastle United have recently received heavy financial backing after their Saudi takeover, and the January investment at the club saw a much-needed turnaround of form at the club. The Magpies went seven games unbeaten at the start of the year.

However, although the performances have seen a massive improvement, and Eddie Howe’s side are all but safe in the Premier League, it appears that there are still issues surrounding the club in terms of the state of the training ground.
Payne showed his emotions on Twitter when reacting to a photo of the current state of the Newcastle training ground by tweeting: “Look at the state of that man. Training ground is an embarrassment.”

After the recent Saudi takeover at Newcastle United, things have looked nothing but positive at the club, after they brought in major signings such as Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimaraes into the club.
And these signings have had an instant impact as they have helped them climb out of the bottom three to 10 points above the drop zone.
However, they may struggle to bring in a higher level of players until they have football in European competition, so it may take a couple of seasons before they see a drastic change in terms of competing higher up the table.
With the photos that have emerged on Twitter, it appears that there is a lot of work to be done off the field as well as on it, but this is an issue that the new owner could quite easily fix.
