Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause has sent a message via Instagram to prove that he is not giving up despite being left out of the side.

Hause has been seriously out of favour for Aston Villa this season, as he has featured just seven times in the Premier League, with his last appearance coming in January against Manchester United in a 2-2 draw at Villa Park.

Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa were the duo at the heart of the Villa defence in the first half of the season, and Hause would feature sporadically in either of the pairing’s absence, but Steven Gerrard opted to bring in Calum Chambers from Arsenal in January, which has seen the 26-year-old defender’s game time limited even further.

With the English defender continuously left out of the Villa side, he took to Instagram to state that he isn’t willing to give up.

TIF Thoughts on Kortney Hause…

Hause has started just four Premier League games this season for Aston Villa and has been an unused substitute in the last five times he was named in the squad.

Since Gerrard was appointed as Aston Villa manager, he has shown his ruthlessness by getting rid of regular left-back Matt Targett – who was not deemed good enough by the English boss – and bringing in Lucas Digne, who he clearly saw as a better fit.

It seems that Hause has also been the victim of this ruthless nature from Gerrard, and it may well be time for him to part ways with the club in the summer to get his career back on track if he cannot break into the first team.
