Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Romain Saiss will want to stay in the Premier League which gives Wolves a big chance at keeping him.

Romain Saiss has been a mainstay defender for Wolves this season, he has featured in 27 Premier League games whilst contributing with two goals, according to Transfermarkt.

Saiss is enduring his fourth season in the Premier League with Wolves and looks set to be partaking in his most capped campaign to date as there are nine league games left and he is six games away from equalling his most capped season (2019/20).

Pete O’Rourke spoke to GIVEMESPORT and claimed that Saiss will be keen to stay in the Premier League despite interest from clubs across Europe.

“I know Saiss has had interest from other clubs all across Europe and outside of Europe as well. But I think he wants to stay playing at the highest level and the Premier League is probably the best league to be playing in right now, so that boosts Wolves’ chances of keeping him.” O’Rourke said.

TIF Thoughts on Romain Saiss…

Romain Saiss has been at the heart of a solid Wolves backline this season, making up the back three alongside Conor Coady and Max Kilman. Bruno Lage’s side have conceded just 23 goals in the Premier League this season, only the sides that sit in the top four have conceded less.

Hehe has an average player rating of 7.06 over the past 12 months, as per Sofascore. He currently has an 80% passing accuracy, averages 4.9 clearances per game, 4.4 total duels won per game and 1.9 interceptions. With this impressive form, it’s clear to see why clubs are starting to show an interest.
