Tottenham Hotspur journalist Dan Kilpatrick has been reacting on Twitter to Antonio Conte’s latest press conference comments.
The Spurs manager was speaking on Friday ahead of the Lilywhites’ next Premier League clash which comes on Monday night against Everton.

And Conte had been speaking about the injury sustained to Oliver Skipp and when he may return to the squad with Spurs struggling in midfield:
“It’s too easy for the medical dept in England! He’s fighting, he could recover before but something went wrong & now we have to wait,” Conte said about the club doctors on Skipp’s injury.
Tottenham have been boosted by the return of Rodrigo Bentancur ahead of Monday’s game after the Uruguayan picked up an injury in the defeat to Burnley.
However, it was apparent the Italian grew frustrated amid Skipp’s injury issue as Kilpatrick picked up on during the press conference:
“Conte appears frustrated with his medical dept over Skipp’s recovery & jokes that they should hold a press conference to answer fitness qus,” Kilpatrick tweeted.

Skipp has now been out of action since the two-week break which came at the end of January and since then Spurs have been an inconsistent mess.
Conte has spoken highly of Skipp whilst the youngster was available and is clearly missing the 21-year-old as he shares his frustrations in the press conferences.
The youngster has played a big role in Tottenham’s season with 18 appearances in the Premier League alone and without him, Spurs have only picked up six points from a possible 15 (via Transfermarkt).
However, Conte’s desperation to hurry Skipp’s return does probably say a lot about the options he has been left in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Winks who were far from impressive on Tuesday night.
