Tottenham Hotspur loanee Giovani Lo Celso has left an encouraging comment on Sergio Reguilon’s recent Instagram post.

Spurs earned three big points in their fight for a top-four finish on Monday night against Everton as they ran out emphatic 5-0 winners.

Does Lo Celso have a future with Spurs?

The Spanish left-back got his name on the scoresheet for just the second time since arriving in north London in 2020 from Real Madrid.

Following the game, Reguilon posted a number of images of him celebrating his goal on Instagram, which came just seconds after coming on for Ryan Sessegnon.

And Lo Celso commented on the 25-year-old’s post-game Instagram post in Spanish: “Lindaaaa goleador” – which roughly translates to ‘beautiful goalscorer’.

The Argentine midfielder left Spurs in the January transfer window for Villarreal after failing to impress in north London since signing permanently in 2020.

Over 84 appearances for the Lilywhites across all competitions, the Argentinian playmaker was only able to find the back of the net eight times as well as provide six assists (via Transfermarkt).

To put that into context, new Spurs signing Dejan Kulusevski already has two goals and three assists in just six Premier League appearances for the Lilywhites.

Lo Celso has joined Villarreal on loan until the end of the campaign and it is believed the La Liga outfit have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

However, five games into his return to La Liga, he is yet to provide Unai Emery’s side with either a goal or an assist having played 309 minutes in the Spanish top flight (via Transfermarkt), but it is nice to at least see him supporting his colleagues at Spurs from afar.
