Tottenham Hotspur supporters may be left incredibly impressed as footage of young goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi has emerged on social media.
With a lot of the club’s first-team players away on international duty, training has taken on a very different look at the Hotspur Way training ground.
In order to make up the numbers, a number of the club’s younger players were mixed in with the likes of Eric Dier, Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks and the other senior players who hadn’t been selected by their respective countries.
The club released footage of the training session onto their YouTube page and it featured clips of a number of drills that the players took part in. In a small-sided game, there were a few notable saves by Oluwayemi (2:56 & 3:33) that the 21-year-old made to keep his teammates at bay.

Impressive saves indeed, and whilst the club have their No 1 goalkeeper in place right now with Hugo Lloris having signed up until the summer of 2024, the spots behind him are very much up for grabs.
Summer signing Pierluigi Gollini is only at the club on loan, with only an option to buy in his deal rather than an obligation.
So if Oluwayemi can keep impressing like this in training, it might just give Spurs boss Antonio Conte a reason to start using him more going forward and forgo signing the Italian on a permanent basis.
