Former player Graham Roberts has claimed that despite having a few knocks, Harry Kane will be fighting fit for Brighton tonight.

Harry Kane has been in fine form for Spurs in recent times having produced six Premier League goals in his last five games.

Tottenham face Brighton & Hove Albion tonight at the AMEX Stadium following a disappointing 3-2 defeat on Saturday against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Interestingly, there was no new updates from Antonio Conte in terms of injuries to players who featured against Manchester United.

However, Graham Roberts spoke to GIVEMESPORT and dropped an interesting claim on Kane’s situation ahead of Brighton later on tonight.

“I think Harry is a bit sore, maybe. He’s had a few knocks, but I’m sure he’ll be ok for Brighton” Roberts said.

TIF Thoughts on Harry Kane…

The fact that Conte raised no new concerns suggests that Kane should definitely play unless anything emerges, so supporters have no real reason to be worried.

Indeed, his now red hot form will be key for Antonio Conte as we head towards the business end of the season and Spurs look to push for a European spot. This is something that will be high up on the agenda of both Kane and Antonio Conte as the Spurs boss is already looking to build in the summer if Daniel Levy lets him and Kane will reportedly lean towards signing a new deal if Conte stays.

Kane has been recently linked with a move to Manchester United after Mauricio Pochettino has been rumoured to be in line for the manager role at the club, but if they meet his demands it seems he’d be happy to stay put.
