Thursday night saw Newcastle United register another win to keep their unbeaten 2022 record in the Premier League intact, battling past Southampton at St Mary’s 2-1 thanks to a winner from Bruno Guimaraes.
Jacob Murphy also featured in the game, sharing a message on Instagram afterwards, hailing the recent performances from the team and the supporters. A long trip for the fans on a Thursday night all the way to Southampton to Tyneside, so no surprises the players are paying tribute to them.
