Leeds United fans should be getting rather excited about young prospect Luca Thomas as footage has emerged of him on YouTube.
Leeds have had to rely on their young players at times this season, mainly due to the sheer number of injuries that have plagued them throughout the course of the year.
Some of them have made a pretty big impact on the first team – Joe Gelhardt scored within seconds of coming onto the pitch against Chelsea back in December and repeated the feat against Norwich City a few weeks ago.
So it’s always good to see who the next player off the conveyor belt is, because you never know who might be called upon to break into the first team, and that person could well be 17-year-old Thomas.
YouTube page Football Talent recently posted a video of him showing off some of his goals as well as the other skills he brings to the table, and certainly at youth level, he appears to cut a very impressive figure with some of the efforts that he was able to pull off.

With the amount of times he managed to cut in from the right side and onto his left foot, there is just the slight hint of Arjen Robben about him, and although he certainly has a long way to go before he can even be considered in the same breath as the Dutchman, there is still a comparison to be made there.
Whether or not we’ll get to see him before the end of the season, especially given Leeds’ proximity to the bottom of the table, is as yet unknown, but if he keeps impressing, he might just give boss Jesse Marsch something to think about moving forward, whether it be this season or beyond.
