Mehrdad Ghodoussi has taken to Twitter to showcase, once again, his kindness towards Newcastle United fans.

Ghodoussi has been working very hard behind the scenes and was even left to get the transfers done during Newcastle’s training camp away in Saudi Arabia and has become a popular figure on Tyneside alongside his wife Amanda Staveley and fellow minority stakeholder Jamie Reuben.

No!

There have already been a lot of moments that have showcased how much these new owners now love Newcastle and their fans – a far cry from the Mike Ashley years – which includes Reuben donating weekly to the foodbank outside of St. James’ Park.

Newcastle fan Susan Gibson, tweeted the club asking for a signed shirt ahead of her niece’s wedding, which had been moved forward due to her battle with cancer, and before the club could even reply, Ghodoussi jumped in and asked her to ‘check your email’, which would mean he’s already contacted her about the situation.

TIF Thoughts on Newcastle’s new owners…

It’s small things like this that will mean a lot to Newcastle fans, who have been starved of any sort of connection between their club and owner given how vacant Ashley was during his time owning the Magpies.

However, these new owners, especially Staveley, Ghodoussi and Reuben, are all regularly in attendance home and away for Newcastle matches, which shows they are fully invested in this club for the short term – which is a relegation battle – as well as the long-term future of becoming a European superpower.
