TalkSport host Adrian Durham says that he would ‘love’ to see Bukayo Saka play for Liverpool on the Champions League stage.

With their main front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all out of contract at the end of next season, they could well be in need of adding some new blood to replace the famous trio at the head of the Liverpool attack.  It will be fascinating how these changes will affect the odds at places such as bet365 kampanjkod and if Liverpool are able to tie down the established stars to new contracts.

They have already started to make changes and look to the future on that front with the signings of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz in recent seasons, and according to Durham, they might find the next piece of the puzzle from a fellow Premier League team.

Do you know how many points Liverpool gain in these seasons? Let's start of with 2020/21

Speaking on TalkSport, Durham claimed that Saka might be on the move if the Gunners do not finish in a Champions League space this season and that the 20-year-old England international would be the ‘perfect’ player to join Liverpool.

He said: “If Arsenal don’t make top four this season, his talents belong on the Champions League stage. I think he is made for Liverpool. I think he’s the perfect Liverpool player with the energy he’s got, his attitude, everything. I’d love to see him play under Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool in that system.”

Saka, valued at £58.5m by Transfermarkt, is certainly someone that Liverpool should be looking to bring in with the futures of Salah, Mane and Firmino uncertain, and as Durham hints at, he could very well be the perfect man for Klopp to add to the Anfield attack.

Having been clocked at an average top speed of 30.55 kph (19 mph) during last summer’s European Championship, he brings plenty of pace, as well as an attacking threat with eight goals and four assists so far this season – and it should be noted that Saka is reportedly interested in a move to Anfield.

Interestingly, Kevin Phillips has also made a comparison between Salah and Saka.

So if Arsenal are unsuccessful in their chase for the Champions League, Saka is certainly a name that Liverpool should be looking to bring in to try and give the squad a boost as they look to continue the rebuild of the forward line.

Whether the Gunners would be so willing to hand him to the Anfield club, however, is another matter.
