A large number of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to share their delight at the claim of Leigh Griffiths being released from the Parkhead club.
According to The Daily Record, the Bhoys have activated a release clause in the striker’s contract which will now see him potentially become a free agent.

The report suggests the 31-year-old will remain on loan with Dundee FC for the remainder of the month with James McPake debating whether to keep Griffiths having initially decided to send him back to Parkhead.
Griffiths put pen to paper on a new one-year deal last summer, however, just a matter of months later it seems like he will never put on the Celtic jersey again and these fans seemed delighted.
