A whole host of Newcastle United fans on Twitter are saying the same thing as footage of their goal has emerged.
The Magpies managed to pick up a massive three points this weekend as Eddie Howe’s men battled hard for 1-0 victory at Elland Road, but their goal may not have come about if it wasn’t for the brilliant work of Javier Manquillo.

Howe decided to hand Paul Dummett his second start of the season but was forced into a change during the second half when he went down injured, which saw Manquillo arrive and impress massively as he won the ball twice in his own half, before running from his own defensive third to Leeds United’s box and win a free-kick.

Manquillo did appear to be proving himself to be a favourite under Howe as he started five of the previous six league matches before he sat out their draw against Watford through suspension and now with Dummett seemingly injured, the Spaniard may be able to re-cement himself as the number one left-back.
