And Spurs confirmed they had donated food to a local charity which was originally ordered for the club’s hotel stay before their scheduled game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Next up for Spurs is scheduled to be Leicester City in the league, but with that game also up in the air, it seems these fans have taken some joy from the club’s off-field actions amid their break from football.

What did these fans have to say?

“Class”

“This club just oozes class. Thank you guys”
“Fantastic news but can u confirm the leister game cause I don’t want to book travel if it’s not happening”
“Best thing I’ve heard in days”
“Despite all the negativity , hatred we receive, we’re still a class club! A social club… Thank you for doing this….”
“Class act as always”
“we are massive”

The news comes just a matter of days after the club announced their food donation to a London food bank which was ordered for their home game against Rennes which was also postponed.

It has been a turbulent past year for the relationship between the Spurs fans and board, however, it is apparent this latest act of goodwill has gone down well with the Tottenham faithful.
