A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their pride at a recent post to emerge from the north London club’s Twitter account.
The Lilywhites were set to play in the Premier League on Sunday, however, their game was postponed due to the virus outbreak at the Hotspur Way training centre.

And Spurs confirmed they had donated food to a local charity which was originally ordered for the club’s hotel stay before their scheduled game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Next up for Spurs is scheduled to be Leicester City in the league, but with that game also up in the air, it seems these fans have taken some joy from the club’s off-field actions amid their break from football.

The news comes just a matter of days after the club announced their food donation to a London food bank which was ordered for their home game against Rennes which was also postponed.
It has been a turbulent past year for the relationship between the Spurs fans and board, however, it is apparent this latest act of goodwill has gone down well with the Tottenham faithful.
