An outbreak of the virus at Hotspur Way saw their final group stage game against Rennes postponed, however, the European body have come to the conclusion to award the Ligue 1 side with a 3-0 win.

The news comes amid Tottenham’s return from a couple of weeks away from the field which has left them with three Premier League games to catch up.
Given the club are sitting six points off the top four with three games in hand, it seems these fans are welcoming their elimination from the tournament as they feel the break from European football may benefit their league form.
