A large number of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to voice their thoughts on some of the comments to emerge after their Scottish Premiership clash on Thursday night.

The Bhoys maintained their four-point gap on their city rivals who sit top of the league but pulled clear of third spot with their 1-0 victory at Parkhead.

Should Kyogo's goal have stood?

Yes

Yes

No

No

It was Kyogo Furuhashi who sealed the win but it came in controversial circumstances with the Hearts manager, Robbie Neilson, feeling the Japanese international was offside.

“I felt today we didn’t get beat by Celtic, we got beat by poor decisions from the referee and linesman. It’s offside,” Neilson said.

And Celtic fans flocked to Sky Sports Scotland’s post to share their initial thoughts on the 41-year-old’s post-game interview.

What did these fans have to say?

“Embarrassing”

“Hearts were dominated. Lucky they didn’t lose by more.”
“Goes both ways pal”
“Delusional. No where near Celtic for the majority of the game and it should’ve been 3 if Forrest took his chances. Hearts could’ve had a man sent off for showing studs in the first few mins and Halkett for violent conduct off the ball on Kyogo.”
“Deary me.”
“Imagine if ange had the mere thought of complaining at an spfl official. he would be attacked saying celtic have a “victim mentallity””
“Cry”
“Is he still crying”
“Dry your eyes MATE”

The Bhoys now turn their attention to Sunday’s trip to Dundee United to see face the side currently sitting in fourth spot of the table.

Having sealed all three points on Thursday night, it was apparent these fans were left perplexed by Neilson’s comments which may well be down to how the Bhoys dominated the stats.
