Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to news surrounding one of their upcoming games in League One.

The Owls have been on a rather impressive run recently in the league, with Darren Moore’s men being undefeated in League One since their loss to Oxford United at the start of October – a run of form which leaves them 7th in the table and just two points away from the play-offs.

With the Christmas schedule coming up, the flurry of games would be a great chance for them to carry on their momentum and continue their push towards the top six.

However, that is not going to be the case, as the club announced that their game against Burton Albion will not take place on Boxing Day due to health issues, with their opponents stating that there are issues within both squads.

The news was relayed to the fans by the club on Twitter, where it generated a number of responses – the majority of them angry ones:
