Lots of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to vent their frustrations with the performance of Martin Dubravka in Monday night’s game.

The Toon came close to earning a huge three points in their fight against relegation, however, Eddie Howe’s side were forced to settle for a point that leaves them two points from safety.

Do NUFC need to replace Dubravka?

Despite having the better of the opportunities, it was Newcastle who nearly threw away the game in the final few minutes as Dubravka dropped the ball inside the box.

And these fans flooded to Twitter to share their anger with the 32-year-old goalkeeper as his performance nearly saw the Magpies lose what would’ve been an 11th defeat of the campaign.

What did these Newcastle fans have to say?

“Dubravka man. Flapped at the catch, spooned and easy pass. Now hoofed a long kick straight out.”

“Dubravka is playing against us”
“Dubravka absolute liability.”
“That’s awful by Dúbravka – plain and simple.”
“Dubravka looks very shaky”
“Dubravka needs moving on too and we need a new keeper”
“Dubravka really frustrating tonight. Distribution horrific, nearly another clanger too”

Dubravka has only made seven appearances this season after returning from injury, but the Slovakian has only been able to keep one clean sheet in the league so far (via Transfermarkt).

With 30 caps for his country and 110 appearances for Newcastle, Dubravka has a lot of experience to his name, however, it seems these fans are hopeful the club will upgrade on the 32-year-old in January after a poor season between the sticks so far.
