Leeds United fans have been reacting to the performance of Tyler Roberts during their game in the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men came into the game not on a pretty poor run of form, winning just one of their last six games, and whilst they aren’t necessarily in a relegation battle just yet, given that they started the night just five points above the drop zone, they would need to be on top form if they were to push away from the bottom to a more comfortable spot ahead of the Christmas schedule.
Top form though would not be the word used to describe the performance of a number of Leeds United players as they suffered a heavy defeat at the Etihad.
Roberts though came in for particularly heavy criticism from some supporters online, with many taking aim at him for his lack of effort when it came to tracking back and trying to stop the Manchester City attack:
“Has Tyler Roberts took sleeping tablets?”
Should Leeds sell Tyler Roberts?
Yes!
No!
Whilst it is a game against Manchester City who are challenging near the top of the table, there are certainly some things that Leeds United could control, and a lack of effort certainly can’t be excused regardless of the opponent.
