Leeds United fans have been reacting to footage that has emerged of Patrick Bamford from their recent game in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men managed to grab a 2-2 draw this past weekend at home to Brentford, with Bamford, who was making his first appearance after an injury that he picked up back in September, grabbing an equaliser right at the death.

Can you remember where Leeds finished in these league seasons? First up: 2018/19

Given Bamford’s importance to the team, having been their top scorer for the past two seasons, to see him back in action was always going to be special, but to cap off his return like that was just the cherry on top.

It’s no surprise, therefore, to see that Leeds want to milk the moment as much as they can, with their latest effort coming in the form of this video that the club posted on their Twitter page, which showed every available angle of the goal and the celebrations that followed. The footage got Leeds fans buzzing with excitement when it came across their timelines:

“The limbs are unreal”

“I’m addicted to watching this. Elland Road in raptures”
“I’m not sure I’ll ever shut up talking about that steward falling flat on his face and then getting manhandled by that fella just wanting to celebrate. This club man”
“Beautiful!”
“We don’t get many goal celebrations in front of us near the half way line so cheers for that paddy b! Great return lad”
“This makes me smile every time!”
“Marcelo Bielsa’s reaction is so cute I love it”

Have Leeds become over-reliant on Bamford?

With the Whites having struggled to find the back of the net so far this season, scoring just 15 goals in their 15 games, hopefully Bamford’s return will see those numbers pick up moving forward, and hopefully he won’t leave them all until that late in the game.
