The 19-year-old signed for Wolves from Porto last year for £35.6m according to BBC Sport, with the youngster putting pen-to-paper on a five-year deal at Molineux.

Silva is predominantly a centre-forward but has featured as a second striker and a left winger also, offering versatility to his game.

After struggling to find form for Wolves, Hatfield has questioned whether Silva was a good bit of business for the club, telling This is Futbol: “It’s got to a point where you do wonder if it was a good bit of business because unfortunately for Fabio, like he’s a youngster who’s come in, he’s come into a different country and it’s not quite clicked for him.”

Silva has featured for both the first team and U23 team at Wolves during this campaign, providing two assists against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and got on the scoresheet against Sunderland U23 in Premier League 2.

The youngster has also represented Portugal this season, as he has played in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers and got two goals and two assists in the 11-0 thrashing of Liechtenstein.
