Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a potential move for Nicolò Barella in the upcoming transfer window.
According to a report in The Daily Mail, the Italian, who made 87 appearances under Conte when the two were both at Inter, is on the club’s radar as a potential option to pursue in the January transfer window.
With eight goals and 28 assists during his 101 appearances at Inter, he could certainly provide some attacking prowess to the side, and having averaged 1.8 key passes per game this season on top of five assists (via WhoScored), he could be just what Harry Kane needs in order to get him out of his slump when it comes to goals in the Premier League.
News of the club’s interest in the 24-year-old was relayed to fans via @HotspurRelated, and it’s fair to say that there were plenty left excited to see Spurs linked with him:
