A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are buzzing on Twitter to see this latest Antonio Conte and Dele Alli claim.

Antonio Conte has overseen two matches since he was appointed as Tottenham Hotspur’s new manager – a 3-2 victory against Vitesse Arnhem and then a 0-0 draw at home to Everton. However, in both matches, Alli failed to even get off the bench.

Will Spurs finish in the top four?

The 25-year-old was signed back in 2015 from MK Dons, but in recent seasons, he has really struggled for form under both Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo, but now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Conte is willing to give the midfielder one last big chance to prove himself good enough to play in this team and at this level.

He said: “I’m told from sources close to the club that he wants to give a big chance to Dele Alli.

“Antonio Conte is convinced that Dele Alli is a player for top clubs. He wants Dele to show his skills with now a completely different attitude, a completely different atmosphere in the club. And this is why Antonio is working on it.”

A lot of Tottenham fans on Twitter are delighted with Conte’s Alli decision.

What have these Spurs fans been saying?

“we’re back”

“It’s not over yet…”

“This would be like a new £100m signing if he can get dele back”

“dele revival talk in 2021”

“Best spurs manager of all time tbh”

“Siuuu dele remontada”

These Spurs fans appear to be holding out some hope that Alli can get back to the form he produced during his first few seasons as a Spurs player and get away from his rotten performances of late, which have seen him fail to score a goal from open play since the 2019/20 season.
