Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to Son Heung-min’s comments on newly appointed manager Antonio Conte,  labelling the Italian as ‘one of the best managers in the world’.

The 29-year-old forward, who scored the first goal of Conte’s managerial reign at Spurs in their Europe Conference League victory against Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday, has revealed his excitement at working as what he believes as one of the best managers in the world in former Juventus, Italy, Chelsea and Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte.

“I’m looking forward to working with one of the best managers in the world. As a player, I want to improve. I’m still hungry. I’m so excited and want to take everything from him. I think he can teach me so many things. I’m open and so excited”, Son told the Tottenham Hotspur official newsletter ahead of the clash against Rafa Benitez’s side.

Following their 3-2 Victory against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday in Conte’s first game in charge at the club, Spurs will be hoping they can continue their winning momentum at Goodison Park this weekend. Having beaten Vitesse, Sonny knows the north London side have to get back on track in the league as well following last week’s resounding 3-0 loss to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

“After a hard result last week, we need to bounce back before the international break,” added Sonny. “We need to prepare well, and everyone has to be ready.

“It’s a tough game. We know Everton, they have always been a good side, so everyone needs to be ready and the main thing is we want to go there and get the three points”,  Son reiterated.
