Many Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to hail Eddie Howe’s starting line-up against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the early kick-off in the Premier League.

Seeking to secure their first league win of the season, Howe’s side drew 3-3 at home to Brentford in their most recent league outing, but will now be aiming to secure a shock victory at the Emirates – a result which could really kickstart and galvanise their campaign.

In terms of the starting line-up, Howe has now made the decision to include goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in his team, replacing Karl Darlow.

Will Howe keep NUFC up?

And, after hearing about Howe’s starting line-up, many Magpies fans took to Twitter to discuss the news.

What did Newcastle fans have to say about it?

“Martin Dubravka love of my life”

“Happy days big Dubravka is back. HOWAY THE LADS”

“Howe-ay Eddie’s black and white army!”

“Yessss Dubs is back!!! Howay Eddie Howes mags”

“It’s like the players who had a poor game have been dropped and the players who have worked hard in training or played well are starting. Not used to this type of management at #NUFC”

“Wow I did NOT expect that! Come on boys! #HWTL”

Howe’s men are the only team in the top four English divisions yet to pick up a victory this season, and have a terrible recent record against the Gunners coming into the match today, with Arsenal having won the last six meetings between the teams without conceding a goal, while not since 2014 have the Tyneside club found the back of the net at the Emirates .

However, if they are able to claim a seemingly improbable victory at the Emirates today, this really could provide as a platform that could spark their campaign as the Toon seek to surge up the Premier League table and steer clear of the relegation zone.
