A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations with the latest claim to emerge in their search for a new permanent manager.
Reports earlier in the week emerged suggesting Villarreal manager Unai Emery was in line to take over as their replacement for Steve Bruce, who was sacked over two weeks ago.

However, Emery has confirmed he will remain at Villarreal and now reports suggest the Toon have turned their attention to Eddie Howe.
According to Football Insider, Newcastle are now in advanced talks with Howe regarding the vacancy and are confident of striking a deal with the 43-year-old.
However, the Toon Army have flocked to Twitter to share their anger over the links to the former Bournemouth manager, who is said to be open to working with Graeme Jones again.

There may be concerns from these fans given Howe has been out of management for over a year now and in his last job, he was unable to steer Bournemouth away from Premier League relegation.
Although the Magpies sit second-bottom in the table and are still without a win, it is apparent from these comments that these fans do not feel Howe is the man to save their club from the drop.
