A lot of international fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the display of Leeds United ace Daniel James in Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Belgium.

The Dragons went into the final game of Group E knowing a draw against Roberto Martinez’s Red Devils would be enough to see them secure a seeded play-off place.

And James started in the game at the Cardiff City Stadium having played 76 minutes on the weekend in the convincing 5-1 victory over Belarus.

The Leeds man was able to provide the assist for the equalising goal in the first half, which saw his cross missed by two Belgium defenders before Kieffer Moore slammed the ball home.

However, international fans took to Twitter to share their frustrations at the performance shown by the 24-year-old on Tuesday night against the world’s top-ranked side.

What did these fans have to say?

“Dan James, absolute fraud”

“Dan james is a terrible footballer”
“Absolutely creasing at how bad Dan James is. Leeds and Welsh fans so deluded”
“Doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing with it does Dan James”
“Our only decent set piece taker in Wilson & he’s on the bench man. Dan James is a waste”
“Dan James is stealing a living”
“Dan James ability to misplace a 5-10yard pass will never cease to amaze me!”

James joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the summer and has featured eight times for the Yorkshire club, providing just one assist in those league appearances (via Transfermarkt).

It is apparent not all fans were left impressed with the winger as despite getting the assist for Moore’s goal, it seems they expected more from the Leeds ace, who is still yet to show his best for the Yorkshire side.
