A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the latest footage to emerge from their U23s side of Sam Greenwood.
The U23s side fell to Manchester City on Monday night in the Premier League 2 after a late goal from Cole Palmer secured the points at the Academy Stadium.

And it was Greenwood’s goal in the 65th minute which caught the attention of the Leeds fans as he put the Whites into the lead with under half an hour to go in the game.
Leeds fans flooded to the tweet from the club’s official account as they shared their delight at the build-up play by Stuart McKinstry and the clinical finish from Greenwood.

The 19-year-old forward has had a solid start to the 2021/22 campaign in Premier League 2, with seven goals in 12 appearances, as well as three assists (via Transfermarkt).
With Leeds’ senior side having only scored five goals in their last seven games in all competitions, it is of little surprise these fans want to see Greenwood promoted to provide Marcelo Bielsa with some firepower in front of goal.
