A collection of Leeds United fans have reacted to footage of star man Raphinha colliding with manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Having gone into the last round of fixtures in great need of a win – they had just seven points after nine Premier League games – all involved with Leeds would have been delighted to claim all three points against Norwich City.

It wasn’t the most convincing performance, but goals from the Brazilian winger and Rodrigo were enough to overcome Andrew Omobamidele’s effort and give the Yorkshire side a 2-1 victory.

However, during the match, while attempting to keep the ball in play, Raphinha accidentally bundled over his manager, who was squatting in his usual stance not far from the touchline.

The club’s official Twitter account shared a clip of the incident and it soon caught the attention of many Leeds supporters.

Is Raphinha Leeds United's best player?

Here’s what these Leeds fans had to say…

“Was only a matter of time haha.”

“Brilliant.”
“I’m still not over this moment and I’m not sure I ever will be.”
“My heart stopped at that moment, thankfully Marcelo is okay and didn’t knock Rapha out, leaving that to training sessions today I bet.”
“Could watch this on loop all day. Bless him.”
“The more I watch it the funnier it gets.”
“He will be doing extra laps around the running track this morning.”

Fortunately for Leeds, it doesn’t seem as if this collision could serve as any doom-ridden metaphor for the duo. In fact, the player and manager are likely to think quite highly of one another.

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

Indeed, after the match, clearly not bothered by the clash, Bielsa sang the praises of the Brazilian, saying: “Raphinha is a player that is different, that is special.”

That was the fourth time the 24-year-old has scored for Leeds this season, and the third time a goal of his has helped the club come away with a result in a league match.
