Lots of Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter and a post from one of their former players, James Milner, as he marked the anniversary of his Premier League debut. 

The 35-year-old made his debut in the Premier League for Leeds 19 years ago at the age of just 16 years of age in an away win against West Ham United.

Milner began his career with the Yorkshire side as he progressed from the Leeds youth system and into the first team as he went on to make 53 appearances for the Whites across all competitions.

And Leeds fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the post from the Liverpool man as he marks the 19th anniversary of his Premier League debut.

Milner, who is now valued at £2.7 million (as per Transfermarkt), departed with Leeds in 2004 as he moved north to Newcastle United for a fee in the region of £6.66m and has gone on to have an esteemed career among some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Although the Leeds-born midfielder only played 53 times for the Whites, it is apparent these fans hold the 35-year-old in high regard for what he has gone on to achieve in his career.
