Leeds Live reporter Joe Donnohue believes the club would want a ridiculous fee for Raphinha.
The Brazil international has been one of Leeds’ star players this season in the Premier League and leads their top-flight goal scoring charts with five goals, which puts him fifth on the overall top scorers chart.

Raphinha scored in Leeds’ last two fixtures prior to the international break against Norwich and Leicester City and Donnohue believes that the club will want a ridiculous fee for him should they ever consider selling him.
“I wouldn’t say that James is sort of a replacement for Raphinha, he’s got a contract until 2024 and you know, I’d be very, very surprised if Leeds settled for anything other than a ridiculous fee which is common nowadays. But for Leeds United standards, especially over the past 15 years, we’re talking astronomical money because he is arguably their most integral player at the moment, probably Kalvin Phillips aside,” Donnohue told This is Futbol.
TEAMtalk reported last month that Raphinha had caught the attention of fellow Brazilian Neymar and that he put in a word with the Paris Saint-Germain board about the Leeds winger, with the report also saying that Liverpool have been continuously linked with him also.
With the January transfer window opening in less than two months and reported interest in Raphinha, you would imagine that Leeds would be commanding a huge fee for their star player because as well as his current form, he also still has until June 2024 to run on his contract with the club.
