Former Leeds United player David Norris believes it’s a massive loss for the club that they didn’t sign Noa Lang during the summer as he is going to attract interest from bigger outfits in the future.

Football Insider reported that Lang was a target of Leeds United’s during the summer, with the report suggesting that the Whites were in for a versatile forward aged between 18-23.

Do you think Leeds will look to sign Noa Lang in January?

Lang stayed with Club Brugge beyond the August 31 deadline, with Leeds signing Dan James from Manchester United on transfer deadline day and former player Norris believes that the club may have missed out on Lang altogether now.

“I don’t think they’re going to get involved in that one. I think it’s been a massive loss for them with just how well he’s started because now he’s just going to attract the bigger clubs and I think probably Leeds missed the boat on that one,” Norris told This is Futbol.

Lang does offer versatility to his game having played in a number of different positions so far this season, as he has featured as a left-winger, centre-forward, second striker, attacking-midfielder and right-midfield for Club Brugge.

The 22-year-old has until 2025 to run on his current contract with Club Brugge but Voetbal24 (via Daily Mail) are reporting that Arsenal are interested in Lang and could look to make a move for him during the January window.
