The defender started the game against Hull City on Wednesday night, however, he only lasted 40 minutes of the game at The Hawthorns after picking up a knee injury.

Speaking on the matter, the West Brom boss said: “Unfortunately, it looks like it could be a bad injury.”

And West Brom fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the latest update to emerge from the 46-year-old manager as they continue to scrap at the top-end of the Championship table.

What did these West Brom fans have to say?

“A player we signed to replace someone with a bad injury also gets a bad injury. The most albion thing going”

“Any emergency free agents out there to temporarily replace emergency free agent Kean Bryan?”
“No surprise there”
“Fingers crossed not bad one”
“Looked a more assured cb to Bartley and Ajayi. Shame. Get back asap”
“Where’s Mowatt up to?”

Bryan was making just his third appearance of the Championship campaign on Wednesday when his night was ended early having just signed for the Baggies in September.

Chris Wilder has previously hailed the youngster earlier in the year for his intelligent style of play, so it is no surprise these Baggies fans seem gutted to have potentially lost him for a long period of time.
