According to The Evening Standard, Tottenham’s four South American internationals are expected to be be available for Sunday’s game against Newcastle after swiftly jetting back to the UK yesterday morning.

Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso played in Argentina’s 1-0 win over Peru overnight, while Emerson Royal started for Brazil in their 4-1 win over Uruguay and Davinson Sanchez was an unused substitute during Colombia’ s 0-0 draw with Chile.

Spurs have put on a private jet to fly the quartet home and, while it will be a tight turnaround, it is expected they will be available to play some part at St James’ Park on Sunday Evening in what will be a major boost to Nuno Espirto Santo’s side who are looking to claim a second successive league victory after their 2-1 home win against Aston Villa prior to the international break.
