A whole host of Newcastle United fans are furious on Twitter to see so many of their festive period games rescheduled for TV.

Despite having a rather favourable start to the season, which has seen them only play one team that finished in the top five last season in Manchester United, Steve Bruce is still yet to oversee his first win this campaign.

Will Bruce be sacked this week?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

With Newcastle recently being taken over by a Saudi Arabian-backed consortium, which has seen them become the richest club in the Premier League, that may have had an impact on their fixture arrangements over the winter months, with seven of their games being moved for TV purposes.

A lot of Newcastle fans are very angry on Twitter with this latest news.

What have these Newcastle fans been saying?

“Funny that now we have money sky actually have us on the tele”

@lowerthandan

“7 games on telly? Well that’s Christmas ruined”

@geordieomalley

“Who wants to wacth Bruce ball”

@scottjwatson94

#BruceOut or this will be a relegation roadshow.”

@NUFC07102021

“And we’ll lose all 7 unless Bruce gets sent packing”

@Dash111_

“What an absolute nightmare this is”

@SquashyNUFC

“They’ve absolutely mugged us with some on these games”

@JackHallnufc5

“Absolute joke moving Boxing Day like”

@fatladisfat

Following a week of constant speculation about his future, Bruce remained in the dugout for the defeat against Tottenham Hotspur – and that speculation is not slowing down, with the likes of Eddie Howe and Wayne Rooney fresh names to be linked with the job.

When the Magpies get into December, their fixtures take a turn for the worse as they face the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Leicester City and Everton, so they need to be getting points on the board before then.
