Lots of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to slam Pascal Struijk’s first half display against Norwich City in the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have endured a difficult start to the campaign, currently sitting 18th in the table with just a solitary victory in the Premier League this season after nine games.
Leeds picked up an important point in their latest Premier League clash against Wolves on Saturday, with Rodrigo scoring a stoppage-time penalty to equalise against Bruno Lage’s men and will now be looking to secure a crucial victory at Carrow Road this afternoon which could really kickstart the Yorkshire outfit’s season.
Currently level at the interval against the Canaries, Leeds are looking to secure victory their second win this season against Daniel Farke’s side.
One player who, according to fans at home, has endured poor first half against Norwich is midfielder Struijk. The 22 year old, lining up in a double midfield pivot alongside England international Kalvin Phillips in a 4-2-3-1 formation for Bielsa’s side has struggled to impose himself on proceedings against Norwich midfield counterparts against Kieran Dowell, Kenny McLean and Mathias Normann and has provided little defensive protection to Bielsa’s back four.
And that has led to a number of Whites fans taking to Twitter to discuss his performance.
