A whole host of West Brom fans are furious on Twitter following Joseph Masi’s claim that Jake Livermore may return to the starting lineup.

The Baggies faced Bristol City last weekend without two of the previous regulars Alex Mowatt nor Livermore, and this led to Valerien Ismael deploy a midfield duo of Robert Snodgrass and Jayson Molumby which offered a blend of experience and youth.

Will West Brom win the Championship?

No!

No!

Yes!

Yes!

The two midfielders that missed out, Mowatt and Livermore, were absent for different reasons with the former injured whereas the latter was suspended for one game, so is now back in contention for the Baggies’ clash against Fulham and Masi thinks Livermore may come straight back into the team, despite them picking up their third biggest win of the season without him.

A lot of West Brom fans on Twitter are very annoyed with Masi’s latest team selection claim.

What have these West Brom fans been saying?

“I had a feeling he’d do it, I’m fuming just reading it, come half 11 tomorrow my head might pop.”

@RyanPGlasgow

“Sorry but what does Livermore bring to this team what Snodgrass and Molumby don’t other than giving away fouls and treating a football like it’s hot potato”

@lewis_botfield

“Don’t you dare”

@Adam_WBAFC

“Why would you drop the two midfielders who have just played an amazing game the other week. Are you trying to get sacked????”

@albion_gaming

“That’s very disappointing. Neither should be dropped after last weekend”

@ColmBrosnan

“Ridiculous decision and I actually like Jake Livermore but to drop whats likely to be Snodgrass is just stupid”

@wbawwwiiillll

“NOOOOOOO NOT LIVERMORE”

@LooseEndzz

With Masi claiming that it’s likely Livermore will come straight back into the starting lineup, it will be interesting to see who he replaces, the experienced Snodgrass, or the youthful Molumby, who’s only started nine Championship games since the start of last season.
