A whole host of West Brom fans are very happy on Twitter following Jayson Molumby’s latest interview with the club.

The Republic of Ireland midfielder has had an indifferent period of time over the last two seasons as his loan spell with Preston North End last campaign saw him handed just 15 appearances in the Championship and this time around with the Baggies, he has now only been handed a chance in recent weeks due to Alex Mowatt’s injury.

Will Jayson Molumby be a good signing for West Brom?

No

Valerien Ismael had opted for a midfield duo of Jake Livermore and Mowatt for the start of the Championship campaign but with the latter injured, Molumby has snatched his opportunity.

The way he has settled in appears to have been effortless and that may be down to how much fellow countrymen Dara O’Shea has helped him, as Molumby revealed that he lived with the defender for six weeks when he first joined the Albion.

A lot of West Brom fans on Twitter are in love with Molumby’s interview.

What have these West Brom fans had to say?

“Baller alert”

@ethan_f3nn

“Get him on a perm for the love of god”

@Africorno

“Not from Africa, better than Kaka”

@C_Arnold242

“He said “home”. Sign him baggies”

@Robbo__SZN

“Apparently according to our journo it’s almost 100% done already. He said we think very highly of him at the club.”

@brodymoz2

“Ooooooo football friends”

@Smicknolan

Molumby will be hoping that his form, while Mowatt’s been out of the side, has been good enough to convince Ismael to give him a consistent run of games to prove that he’s one, good enough and two worth signing on a permanent basis next summer.
