A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to Phil Hay’s latest injury update following Marcelo Bielsa’s pre-game press conference on Thursday afternoon.

The Whites face David Moyes’ West Ham United on the weekend in the Premier League and their Argentine manager has revealed the latest injury news ahead of the clash at Elland Road.

Will LUFC get their first win against West Ham?

“Llorente, Koch and Bamford won’t participate. The rest I can’t tell you if they will be available or not,” said the 66-year-old manager.

Patrick Bamford suffered a knock in Leeds’ previous Premier League outing against Newcastle United last Friday and missed the Carabao Cup victory over Fulham on Wednesday due to the ankle issue.

The Whites prevailed on penalties at Craven Cottage on Wednesday, however, it is apparent these fans are already showing their concerns ahead of the weekend’s clash after Hay relayed the latest team news.

What did these Leeds fans have to say?

“Phil you’re normally good on here but that is a really terrible tweet. It’s ruined my day.”

“This is very very concerning”
“Literally gets worse by the day.”
“We’re doomed.”
“Wow, this is insane. Same team as the other night then?”
“We’re in the mud”

Leeds have struggled to match the start they made in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, with Bielsa’s men still searching for their first win as they lie slumped in 17th spot.

And it appears they will be up against it on the weekend given the numerous injury concerns at Elland Road and facing a Hammers side fresh off a cup win at Old Trafford.
