West Bromwich Albion fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post to emerge concerning Baggies attacker Callum Morton.

This comes after the official West Brom Twitter account shared a post on its page sharing an update on Morton’s progress on loan, where he has now scored five goals in his previous three games for Fleetwood Town.

This post then caught the attention of a number of Baggies supporters, who were not shy in airing their thoughts on the 21-year-old.

So, what did these West Brom fans have to say in response to the club’s post about Morton?

“Recall him. Start him Friday.”

@OThurogood

“Recall him ASAP, we need him”

@RalphyRamone

“Bring him home in January”

@TThrostle

“Can we recall him and send them Hugill?”

@parkes_10

“Could do with him up front for us surely, when fit he has proven he can score”

@AdKido44

Recall him and to soften the blow send them Zohore. Not on loan either as a permanent free signing should keep them happy”

@wbarenno

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems as though these West Brom fans think that their club should recall Morton from his loan early based on how well he’s done at Fleetwood in terms of scoring goals.

Do you think West Brom should recall Callum Morton?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Given how the Baggies have drawn their three previous Championship games and have only managed to score two goals in the process, it’s easy to see why these fans think bringing Morton back to the club along with his goalscoring form back to The Hawthorns would be a smart move.

In our view, it would probably be best if West Brom allowed Morton to see out his loan deal with Fleetwood until the end of the season so he can make the best use of his time there and hopefully develop and continue scoring goals rather than bring him back to the Baggies in January if he wouldn’t be guaranteed regular playing time there.
