A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted negatively on Twitter to the latest news concerning Ryan Sessegnon.

In his latest Q&A, Alasdair Gold has claimed that Sessegnon is now a doubt for the club’s friendly against rivals Arsenal this weekend, as well as still being ‘touch and go’ for their opening game of the season against Manchester City.

Will Spurs finish in the top four?

Sessegnon spent last season out on loan in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, but with Nuno Espirito Santo favouring the use of wing-backs during his time at Wolves, this may be a great chance for the former Fulham man to show why Spurs bought him back in 2019.

A lot of Spurs fans are annoyed on Twitter with the latest Sessegnon news.

What have these Tottenham fans had to say?

“Time to cash in I reckon, he’s proven to be injury-prone”

@23Losty

“Why do we have such injury-prone players?”

@xthfcjamie

“Another one that’s been a waste of money… always injured, plus he’s a Championship player anyway We’re in the mud”

@gaulish10

“Sell him he’s always going to have hamstring problems”

@ian23179

“This guy with injuries man”

@thfcsxn

“Need to sell him he will forever be like this”

@jefe94889115

During the 2017/18 season, Sessegnon was awarded both the Championship’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards as Fulham earned promotion to the Premier League, but since then, he’s only been able to make 41 Premier League appearances – with just six of them coming for Tottenham.

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

Spurs have several options if Nuno is to play with wing-backs as they have the likes of Matt Doherty, Serge Aurier, Ben Davies, Sergio Reguillon and of course, Sessegnon – so the latter may have a battle on his hands for regular first-team minutes.
