On the latest One Leeds Fan Channel YouTube video, Leeds Live’s Conor McGilligan has been speaking about all things Leeds United.

The Yorkshire club have been heavily linked with the potential summer signing of the Club Brugge winger Noa Lang.

Would Lang be a useful addition at Leeds?

No

It is believed the Belgian side has no intention of selling their 21-year-old winger and are hoping he will sign a new contract this summer.

The Dutch winger has been linked with a potential move away from the Belgian side following his stunning showing in the 2020/21 season which saw him net 14 times and provide eight assists in his 24 top-flight appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Discussing where he thinks the £19.8m-rated ace’s future lies, McGilligan had the following to say on where he thinks Leeds may fit into Lang’s plans.

“That one for me, I think that will probably get done, Noa Lang, in my personal opinion. There’s been a lot of talk about him, it’s been happening now for two or three months. He fits the Leeds mould really well.

“For me, if one is to get done, it’s Noa Lang. It’s a decent price, he’s a good player and he’s had a good couple of seasons – his numbers back that up.”

TIF Thoughts on Leeds’ summer business…

Leeds so far have made two notable additions to their squad in Jack Harrison and Junior Firpo, with backup goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson also joining (via Transfermarkt).

However, it is only Firpo who is likely to bring change to the Leeds starting XI given Harrison has been at Elland Road on loan for a number of years.

Having finished in ninth spot, we do not think Leeds need to bring in a lot of players this summer, but with one week until the start of the new campaign, we thought there may have been another couple of new faces added to strengthen the squad.

The Whites have been linked with a number of forwards including Lang, Matheus Cunha and Adama Traore, so we are interested to see if any of these names come through the door before the window shuts – and if McGilligan’s prediction comes true.
